HOME CAFE POP-UP — London, 2025

For two days in September, we took over a space in Hackney  and turned it into a café and it was everything we hoped it would be.

The experience was designed as an invitation to reimagine the home coffee ritual. Guests were encouraged to slow down, explore home café equipment and tools, and discover how thoughtful choices in setup, ritual and environment can transform an everyday moment into something really special. We wanted to show that the gap between a great café experience and a great home coffee experience is smaller than most people think. It just takes a little intention.

We wanted the space to work for everyone. A starting point for those just beginning to explore home brewing, and a reference point for those already deep into it. A chance to see, feel and experience how café culture can translate into the intimacy of your own home.

There was also a small shop. Everything in it we had used and loved in our own home. Ceramic cups, wooden trays, wooden spoons and a carefully chosen selection of clothing.

What struck us most was the people. How many of them felt exactly the same way we do about their homes. About wanting the everyday to feel a little more considered. Those conversations are what made it so special.

We can't wait to do it again.
